I Fell for Fall in Magical Maine

Shot this picture as my plane landed after the wonderful aerial view of fall colors over Moosehead lake in Maine. Gorgeous Place!
I dont know why, but I like Fall the best of all seasons. Just so beautiful. If I could, I would have shot every tree for the fall colors..and well i tried to !

The truth in Black and white

The truth in black and white. Taken at the magic wings in Deerfield,MA. This butterfly definitely caught my eye. Black and white always the best possible combination. I guess the picture speaks for itself.

Flatiron

This building has always captured my attention. I always wanted to capture it in my lens and I gotta chance to do so in this spring. It is a wonderful building and has a lot of history attached to it. The Flatiron. The aerial view of this place is really beautiful. New York always has something to offer, I never get tired sightseeing in the Big Apple.

My experiments with yellow

Tried something with picasa here. came out pretty good i think. Once again yellow rocks! This too was shot at the Liberty State park ferry dock in NJ. Must try my hands at black and white photography! Shall try that out soon. This picture actually looks like this

Blue skies and Blue butterflies

This was shot at the Magic Wings butterfly park in Deerfield,MA. The place was magical. I got to see the monarch (popularly known as the tiger butterfly in India) and this one in the picture happens to be the (click here to read more from wikipedia) Blue Morpho menelaus.
This Blue's was clueless and was perched on top of the window sill providing the contrasting background.
If only we had wings and could fly...Sigh!

Fall...Nature's best of all...

This was shot from a train ride I took up in the white mountains, NH along the pemmiwagasset river ( i dunno if i spelt that right). Was sad that i missed this place in prime fall, no harm done shall try it another time. The color of the water so blue, the trees painted with all shades of fall the rich beauty of these mountains just left me spellbound.

Serene Sailing...

This was yet again shot from the Liberty State Park Ferry dock in New Jersey. I liked the sailboat, reminded me of something different. The whole midtown Manhattan and the skyline all bustling with acitivity and here is one sailboat on the Hudson, that doesn't really care about all this. Just sailing to serenity!

Pretty in Pink

Pink is my niece's favorite color anything in pink she just loves it. Pretty in Pink they say...
This was clicked at a place called Bridge of Flowers, Shelburne Falls, MA. My interest in photography kindled around this time by another friend of mine who definitely takes awesome pics!

Yellow Mellow

This was something I shot at the Liberty State Park ferry dock on the NJ side. Yellow..the color associated with smileys, happiness, sunshine, the sun...
Yellow yellow..dirty fellow !

I always enjoy shooting near the yellow flowers, have a lot of pics of them, with them!
Must try something with a sunflower sometime!!
